STUBE END process is the last process of forming the contour or solid shape of stamping parts. Flanging part is mainly used to connect stamping parts (welding, riveting, bonding, etc.). Some flanging is the requirement of product streamline or aesthetics.
STUB END direction is not necessarily consistent with the movement direction of the press slider, so flanging process should first consider the location of flanging blank in the die. Correct flanging direction should provide as many favorable conditions as possible for flanging deformation, so that the movement direction of punch or die is perpendicular to the flanging contour surface, so as to reduce the lateral pressure and make the position of flanging parts stable in the flanging die.
According to the STUBE END direction, it can be divided into vertical flanging, horizontal flanging and inclined flanging. Vertical flanging, upward opening of trimming parts, stable shaping, convenient positioning, and air cushion pressing material can also be used, which should be used as far as possible when conditions permit. In addition, according to the number of flanging surface, it can be divided into single flanging, multi-flanging and closed curve flanging. According to the deformation property of blank in flanging process, it can be divided into elongation type screen curve flanging, elongation type surface flanging, compression type plane curve flanging and compression type surface flanging.
